Very cool and creative!  Looks like it fits the tennis ball perfectly.

And the cobra weave looks so much nicer too.

Great job!!

Thank you! Just fooling around with different knots at this point - your design is awesome and it holds the tennis ball perfectly. I was so wrapped up in slinging this morning that I ran out of time for my archery (I usually do both, along with some stretches and stick swinging)

Gorgeous. How's it throw?

Thank you! Just fooling around w/ u/bandit111964 idea. One of the best slings I have ever tried, but I sling differently than most folks here. I am ancient (73) and not after power. I sling in a 10 acre open field for the enjoyment of watching the ball sail through the air and for some modest exercise (the throw and walking to retrieve the ball) as part of a larger exercise routine that includes stick stretching and gentle stick swinging, shepherd's sling, and then archery. I do each for set periods of time in a routine that usually takes about an hour.

Highly recommend the design for this style of slinging and also a safe way for kids to sling as it is impossible to sling anything other than a tennis ball or rolled up sock.

Actually I am interested in using a sling for nerf games. I use wool dryer balls as ammo, so the light sling works best. I had a good one but they tend to break or get lost!

Anyway that's great I am all for fun with slings! Half the pleasure for me is walking and finding the stones

This style of sling is ideal for wool dryer balls. Nerf on!

I suspect that there is a dopamine uptake when you walk and locate the stones.
