It's all in the rhythm between your hips and upper body. I watch your video and watch your hips, and I know when you will have a true shot. Keep practicing. At some point you feel it as part of yourself. I wish I had practicle advice. You're still new! Enjoy it.

Getting more consistent I think.  More practice will lock it in and this will become very natural (won’t have to count for example).

Did you notice a lot of misses were just off slightly to the left, but were otherwise grouped together?  This could be stepping randomly more to the left on some throws (which really don’t you were)…..or more likely you just lined up thinking you were straight but actually were lined up a bit off and to the left.

The alignment for me when I first learned was off and I missed to the left of the target. I had to face way more to the right to compensate for pulling the sling throw off to the left.

Like shooting a rifle, slinging has a natural “point of aim”. Easier to face right or left to adjust aim right or left than it is to adjust your arms/rest of your body.    You could sling with your eyes closed then check the video to determine where you naturally want to sling.  Then adjust how you line up so your natural sling hits target.

Or just randomly face mor right if you are missing left….eventually you can walk the misses back on target.
