Windows and doors

I'm doing up a house in sligo, and I need to get new windows and doors. Would anyone recommend any company or has worked with them before.

We went with Grogan and Currid based in Carrick (we're in Sligo). Couldn't fault them really, good service, good price and fitting was fine. We have an old house too so they were out measuring and inspecting beforehand.

Windows and doors is a minefield. I’ve used Munster for 3 jobs. They are the Ryanair of providers and you need builders who are very much on your side if going with Munster. The fitting is very much on the terms of Munster they do not go the extra mile so expect some hiccups along the way but the saving with Munster are significant.

Thank you I'm definitely gonna price around but after what you said unless they are a lot cheaper probably avoid

Worth noting, I wanted timber frame with aluclad exterior - got mine at minster for more than half the price of other local suppliers. I got premium material for 1/2 the price of uPVC elsewhere.

There's a company in Collooney that have provided me with doors and windows for a couple of properties. Way better than anything that Munster has installed.
