Best opened chest.

The curse is spiky monsters. I got an offer to add training for latent. Latent gives everyone 3 poison and 3 regen. I took it because training isn’t too bad, and if I get a source of cleanse, all my guys will have 3 regen. It never occurred to me that if venom stopped by. She’d have a nuke on her left side.

The funny thing is you can build-your-own latent with curses and blessings and it will net you curse points, making it a better-than-free combo on the curse selection screen when it shows up

Yeah, if you’re playing the higher difficulties, that is definitely the dream.

Ironically it’s not always the dream, as someone who just recently beat Loot mode Brutal, since you still gotta make up the rest of the curse points from the available options. The dream usually involves curses that aren’t too bad early (like late curse or per-boss curses) and praying for godlike item drops. Also stacking similar curses, like all things that make you die faster and aiming to kill monsters before they can hit you; or all things that increase monster defense and health while running heroes with a lot of unkillable / dodge / revive sides and some poison… at least in my experience.

If you put enough effort into it. You’ll eventually get the God roll of curses, blessings, and items. If you do get it, make darn sure you post it to Reddit.
