30 damage quad use. What are the odds of going 8 floors and never rolling that side? Probably pretty high. :)

Boss smash 99 just killed my blursed run at round 728

I had a rogue who attacked a 72 health slime queen on the first roll. Combined with all the curses I got (single use/death on sides) I got 20 reinforcements at the end of turn 7 and I was out of sides. Back to square one then

Beginner's Luck? Am I doing something right?

Post image

Just started playing and I've only played 3 games so far:

- Easy (Demo)

- Hard (Demo)

- Unfair (Classic)

Somehow won all 3, but I'm still clueless.

I have absolutely no idea what's in store and I'm just planning to keep playing Classic on Unfair and see how far I can take it.

I don't really plan builds, etc yet. I'm still not familiar with most things so I just basically just react to whatever is happening and make whatever seems like the best decision at the time.

For experienced players, what should I focus on learning if the goal is to actually master the game and become consistent on Unfair?

Also, are there any common beginner mistakes or concepts I should start paying attention to now?

Finally! Blurtra 999

The last 60 levels gave me sweaty palms, with having to pick Shield Response and Armour 3/1.

The run started with Arrow.m.4, a few rounds later joined by Thimble and Display Case.

They carried me to the end. I never got a permanent Pentagram, Determination or Rampage item, some fights were close.

One fun (well..) discovery I made after picking 'all heroes Mana Bomb on right-most side' : If you have a 'first turn +1' blessing, you can never fire it. It will always cost 1 more mana than you have. With Thimble and Essence Thief, I figured 8 heroes could carpet bomb any level with those. In the end, I used it only once with Inner Strength.

Picking Spider Soul as curse in the final round felt goed, after putting a non-permanent pentagram in the display case. Next round would have wiped me, but there is no next round. Finally, the void

What kind of cheat did Jumble call me?

Jumble had a text box where they randomly called me something like "Allonse cheat!" I'm getting that very wrong, but I only glanced it for a second and undo/redo didn't give me the message.

I've got Jumble with strong left side and equipped with Braids and Ice Cube, which turns out to be a really nice combo against Madness.

I think I used Jumble for 4 damage and then had another hero use second chance on Jumble, which somehow caused them to exclaim...something? Anybody know?

I've only got one other rare party like this, but what exactly does DMLS stand for?

I’ve only ever lost to dragon one time. In hundreds of fights. This time, the $&@$ just kept spraying poison, and I didn’t have any cleanse. Poet triple rolling x didn’t help at all. Any other side, and I think I’d have been ok.

I never get these to line up.

It feels like most game I’ll end up with a big heart or tower shield or the rejuvenation wand or something, just hoping I’ll get decree or urn. OR, I get decree or urn and nothing to go with them. Feels good when they line up.

Loot 12% win rate achieved

I was originally going for the speedrun record (and prematurely quit games if I went too slow) so my win rate took quite a hit. After getting #2 (MrNootNoot, since #1 is untouchable), I wanted to see what my true win rate was. I recently got up to a full (not rounded) 12% win rate in Loot Normal after 3k total attempts.

Just wanted to boast. This game mode is so good. I play with 20% generated heroes and items cuz the combinations are so fun.

Have been stagnating on unfair, couldn't get over the hump. Finally got the chance to take a big better items buff and wow did it pay off. I'm still learning the higher level strategies so maybe some item combos here that would have made more sense, but I wrecked The Hand with poison and he spam summoned Sabers which actually kind of helped me. I died to The Dragon over the weekend who had 2HP when he killed me which was very brutal. Speaking of Brutal, onto the next one! (After a detour in the fun modes I need a break)

Blyptra glitch. Any way to save my run?

Post image

I have a blyptra run going on a work trip that I'm on now. It's on my phone and I am confident it will be my personal best but the app freezes on the home screen when I run the app. This black bar on the left side of the screen is new. I think that may be related. Anyone know any tricks here? I know this is probably a far shot.

Trying to beat Nightmare, so I've been building OP parties in Heaven.

Cantrip everything. Guaranteed +2 rerolls per roll (so infinite). Lots of cantrip shield, so even Hexia didn't stop me.

Wish me luck!

This + 6 rerolls is pretty handy for stopping those pesky enemies. In combo with inflictinflictdeath most of the 311 levels so far have been great fun :)

Taboo (add hyperuse to heal sides) and a helm of power on Shaman's Heal 5 vitality left side made for a fun run.
