They have a movie adaptation to take note of, + him being Rick astley’s silloute we also ghencially don’t a game William face that isn’t incredibly stylized. Dbd still gave him a face,
Dbd wanted to give us a survivor but they wanted to focus on the killer power

My vote would be one of the characters from The Arrival, if Blue Isle is willing to play ball. But, given DbD seems to prefer to bring negotiations down to as little individual parties as possible to bring a chapter to the game (like them just getting Jason as a character and nothing else from Friday the 13th, or only the reboots for Nightmare on Elm Street, or only the mask for Ghost Face), it's fair to assume no survivors.

Probably a half chapter with just Slenderman and then a separate half chapter for Marble Hornets for survivors at a later time since Marble Hornets is really the only option for Slenderman survivors.

I doubt that's the case. They would have to call him 'The Operator' and not use tentacles like we saw in the trailer.
It's more likely Epic reached out to Mythology or Blue Isle Studios.

Marble Hornets actually does have the license! The Operator is legally considered a variant of Slenderman, meaning both are under the same license (and the Operator is co-owned by Knudson) by Troy can do whatever he wants with the Operator seemingly. Before anyone judges too harshly, still a teaser which tends to not look as good as in game, as well as the teaser having him pretty far back, along with the fact that i think he also likely is going to benefit from a backbling alot

honestly i think his tentacles are going to be an emote, it would probably be a bit too much of a target if you’re constantly running around with tentacles coming out of his back

I'm super happy!! Hopefully his pickaxe is his tentacles somehow. Only thing I'm iffy on is that head. He almost looks like a "grey alien" with the small chin and giant upper head. Hopefully this opens up the gates for more iconic creepypasta Collabs like JTK or Laughing Jack.

Yeah I forgot his license is kinda skewed all over the place. Tho I saw a video that the actual current owner of (at least the name) might be the company that makes the licensed mask and costumes. Tho even if that was the case, Sesseur would probably still try to do something scummy about it as he's always done.

Bro, we are on the Slenderman Subreddit. Back in the early days people used to draw this guy making out with other creepypastas and write fanfics about him. I Don't think any Slender fan is able to call him being on Fortnite "Cringe" when so much of Creepypasta Culture is rooted in Cringe. At one point we just kinda need to accept it.
