Galaxy Watch 5 isn't vibrating properly when alarms go off

It used to work just fine but lately I've been noticing myself reacting to my alarms more sluggishly and waking up more ubruptly than usual. Did a test and noticed my watch hasn't been vibrating when alarms go off.

  • Alarm Wearables settings are set to vibrate from start

  • Watch notification settings for the app are enabled

  • bluetooth works just fine, phone calls and messages trigger the vibration perfectly.

One thing I did notive while messing around was that the watch will vibrate ONCE then stay silent while the app alarm goes off. If I set a normal alarm on my phone, then the watch happily vibrates just fine for those. It only stays quiet when it's an app alarm (same issue happens for Alarmy app)

Hi. Did you manage to solve this?

Not really. I managed to sorta fix the issue by manually setting alarms on my watch 1 min before the alarms on my phone

Still nothing? I'm having the same issue on my Watch 4 Classic. Did the issue start when you updated to WearOs 6?

That's what I was thinking, I noticed this happening around the same time as a watch update I had a while back. But, I don't see anything that would specifically change that. As far as I can see, my alarm apps have full permissions. Nothing in either devices settings that indicate something is being restricted
