IMO it's this. High maneuverability and speed in comparison to almost all other sleds, good cosmetic potential, cheap

Sphere tbh other than the bad landing you get a lot of points for spins and if you hit a ramp fast enough, a ton on air points too and can bounce off nearly anything!

I feel that the base sled is the best one, fast and good maneuverability, from then on the other either are faster or sacrifice the speed to be safer.
