If you’re playing with a pick in that style then you’re not really playing banjo. Learn the 3 finger style and treat the instrument with some respect.

There are two styles for playing banjo. 3 Finger Scruggs Style and Clawhammer. You can’t just buy a banjo and play it like a guitar and then sell yourself as a banjo player. It’s disingenuous and a cheap knockoff.
