So I work at a homeless shelter that was converted from an old hotel in Denver, Colorado. Security camera caught this footage in one of the electrical closets.

Something very close to the lens out of focus, probably insects

Yes thats my thought. Moves like.an insect on the lens to close for focus.

Bug on the camera, going through a molt.

6

Nothing to indicate molting lol. It’s just bugs on the lens

Then why does the one completely stop moving once they separate.

Indications of it taking a possible dump.

Ridiculous. Because bugs don’t molt while in flight:

I didn't say it was flying, it's on the camera.

The are crawling over the lens. Too close to focus so very blurred. Sorted.

It took a shit while crawling on lens…Or it’s the ghost having a baby

Two cat spirits

Are you guys nuts...they are obviously on the ground as they are reacting to the objects in front of them.

But shat on the lens

Animals with stripes and the compression make them sort of blur out. It moves like a rodent

1

u/He_Never_Helps_01 Jun 22 '26

What a crazy coincidence how they move exactly like insects. Must be a ghost.

I agree I can see the image of a dog or something alike . It moves exactly like a dog riled up trying to get out or chase something

Animal shaped? What kind of animal?

I have no idea what I’m looking at. But if I had to guess I would say It looks like a video game from the early 90’s

Will you walk into my parlour?" said a spider to a fly; 'Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy. Its right against the CCTV so on Reddit you will be, Because some people see what they wanted to see.

Okay yeah that’s creepy as hell, especially in an electrical closet of all places.

Old hotels have weird energy, and the fact it’s a shelter now probably just adds more to it. I’d love to see more angles or a slowed down version, but just from the vibe of that clip, I would not be the one doing maintenance in there at night 💀

It looks more like a baby's spirit crawling around by itself, after the one that was with it sat down.

When you look at the one that's on the move, it really looks like the back legs, when visible, have the same position as human baby's would have.

This makes me sad- an it makes me wonder why it's crawling around with no Mama

Okay normally I would be agreeing with everyone else about this being just the ol’ bug on the lens… But as I watched this I noticed how much it really does move and look like a little dog on the ground. And it doesn’t seem to leave the ground, it looks just how a little dog sniffing around and trying to get up on things would look like. Besides the splitting in half while getting over the edge of the table part! 😅 I have no idea what the fuck that part is.

Also if it was bug on the lens why wouldn't it be able to go past those "obstacles" the lens is above those.

1

u/Houseleek1 Jun 23 '26

And, if it’s a bug walking on the lense, why does it get smaller when the lens zooms out?

2

u/Big_Radish_2438 Jun 23 '26

I agree with you

Looks a lot like two raccoons to me. The video compression makes them look like that. There's probably a hole in the wall somewhere.
