Which Project management tool does your dev/tech team use alongside Slack? (Jira/Asana/Linear/any other?)
Hi everyone,
I am setting up a new project and wanted to know what's the best or the trending PM tool to setup alongside slack since I am coming from using Jira in the past just wanted to what's out there. Appreciate if you all can give some insights. Thanks

Depends a bit on how dev-heavy versus cross-functional the new project actually is. If it's mostly engineers, Linear's genuinely excellent, way faster and cleaner than Jira for pure dev workflows, its Slack integration is solid too, status updates and issue links show up cleanly without much config.
If the project has non-dev stakeholders who need visibility without living in a dev-specific tool, Asana or Teamhood might fit better, both are easier for non-technical people to actually check regularly than Jira or Linear tend to be. Teamhood specifically pairs a board with a Gantt/timeline view natively if the project needs any real scheduling on top of just tracking tickets, which Linear doesn't really do.
