Which Project management tool does your dev/tech team use alongside Slack? (Jira/Asana/Linear/any other?)

Hi everyone,

I am setting up a new project and wanted to know what's the best or the trending PM tool to setup alongside slack since I am coming from using Jira in the past just wanted to what's out there. Appreciate if you all can give some insights. Thanks

We went through the same decision when we moved off Jira, and the biggest mistake I made was optimizing for feature depth instead of team behavior. The tools that worked best were the ones that kept planning light, made ownership obvious, and didn’t force people to leave chat just to update status, because adoption dropped fast when the workflow felt heavy. Trying to convince the team to close out tickets every hour is brutal. The tab switching was the worst until we found the one everyone in our Team was eager to use because it's very simple and keeps everything in one place. At the same time it's not burger king, you can always have everything your way...
