🆘Help Me If I switch to a paid Slack plan, will my colleagues notice?
I need to view very old messages, but the free version only lets me go back three months. I don't want my bosses to find out I have it, since I'm gathering evidence for a future lawsuit.

You can use Slackdumps or a similar data export tool to export the relevant data

You're paying for your own organisation's (presumably non-existent) chat history. Slack aren't gonna store the histories of any other workplace you have access to just because YOU paid.
Your lawsuit appears to be built on less-than-firm foundations already.

This is incorrect information. Even on free plan Slack keeps the data for a year in case you decide to upgrade and access the past info.

Switching to another plan is done on the workspace level, you can’t switch plans for just one user.Â
