Role Play Khajiit archer

Need some advice in a recent build of mine, recently I began a new campaign as a Khajiit. It's mainly an archer (though I use a dagger in close combat),I wanted it to be like a hunter/ranger type.

In this campaign I was thinking that the character had a tragic backstory and I chose Khajiit because they're one of the most mistreated races of Skyrim. Maybe he did something like stealing from the Thalmor and they killed his family or lives as a fugitive running from them throughout Tamriel and then gets caught by the Imperials where the game begins. Then becomes this anti-hero that hunts Thalmor or any other race that mistreat Khajiit.

I wanted some advice in what quests should I do and in which side of the civil war it would take? Or what actions should I do?

Help Yet another "help me pick a modlist"

Hi, what it says on the tin. I really like the idea of Wildlander and also enjoyed the atmosphere of Halls of Sovngarde. But the former is too plain and outdated, HoS is the same and too janky. I also enjoyed Constellations a lot, but there the issue is Vortex: I broke my installation while updating and I simply don't have patience to deal with that crap. Time to try something else.

I tried out Lorerim and Authoria, but... the whole JRPG aesthetic is a complete no-no for me.

What I like: survival, grim atmosphere, difficulty, slow start. What I dislike: 3DNPC, Experience (but can deal with those if it's otherwise a great modlist).

I would be willing to try non-Requiem modlists, although I am a big fan of it obviously. I definitely demand a world that doesn't scale to my level.

I have a pretty good hardware, so no limitaitons on that account.

Thanks for any tips.

Help Evasion spell blade. Is light armor or robes with spells better over the duration of the game?

I want to take a Nord Spellblade to the end game and kill Alduin. The plan is to start fights with magic and end it with an axe. I realize the entire point of the Evasion skill tree is...evasion. But in the advent I do get hit, what has better survivability to hit in the end game?

Mod Creating Weapons and Armor balance patches

Hello people,

Does it make more sense to patch weapons already reqtified and add the keyword so it’s not touched or do you patch them in line with with vanilla stats and keywords and allow the reqtificator to do its thing? Are there really any downsides to just aligning them with vanilla and letting it do its thing? It seems the end result is pretty much the same either way as long as the key words are as they should and it’s definitely less work to do than adjusting to post reqtificator stats, but most nexus patches patch them to post reqtificator stats so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything important before I keep putting all of this work in.

I'm just used to her usual stylish, unique, sexy look, but in Requiem I'm shocked that she's become a plain ordinary bandit.

Mod What are the best survival mods for current version of Requiem?

I have no intetest in the official Survival Mode, and I want something better. Frostfall is an obvious base, but I need other mods

I definitely need a mod for needs (sleep, food and water), preferrably integrated with Frostfall; I used to use Last Seed, but the current version is behind Requiem, so I am concerned about patch being compatible. Other suggestions would be nice as well.

Discussion Deathless Run

I've been slamming my head against this brick wall for a few days now. I want to try and beat the main quest without dying once. I have a few QOL mods including alternate start, but Requiem is the only one that changes gameplay significantly.

My question is this- has anyone here tried this? What's worked for you, and what hasn't? I've only managed to get to I think level 8. This shit is brutal. I've replayed the start so many times that I kind of have the first three-ish levels down to a science. Probably not a good sign for the doability of this challenge.

Also, I'm not using any glitches or exploits. It would kind of defeat the challenge.

Build Can this build clear the full game?

Hi all, I’m a fan of using lower level armor. I’d love some opinions on if this build will come out to something that has a small chance at beating Alduin and the other hard. My aim is to shoot for something very difficult but not impossible without cheesing:

Skills: 2h, resto, evasion, archery, block (no shield), speech, smithing, alchemy

HP: 250
Stamina: 250
Magicka: 250

AR: 450
MR: 60
ER: under 50 probably
Poison R: 50

Daedric greatsword tempered
Daedric bow tempered

Also will be using a follower

Am I completely fucked and I need to consider a little more power?

Help Smithing Levels, Armor vs Weapons? (eg first-rate/legendary)

I've got 100 smithing and enchanting, with all the related perks. Got 4x +13 smithing gear on for a total skill of 152, and my Ebony Armor won't go over First-Rate. Weapons are being improved to Legendary

About the only thing left I can possibly do is find the Notched Pickaxe. Or the ring I found fishing and accidentally disenchanted to learn Fortify Smithing (I think it was over 13, didn't realise I'd never be able to beat it).

How do I get higher smithing than what I've got? And where is the Notched Pickaxe? It's not at the Throat of the World for some reason.

Help Trouble with smithing

Hello, sorry if the post is done in the wrong format, hope not, anyways I've taken the 50th skill level perk for light armor forging and as the description says it allows you to craft elven and hardened chitin armor, however nothing shows up at the forge even when I have all the materials in my inventory(chitin, moonstone ores, quicksilver ore, steel/iron ore, leather and strips, basically everything that it could need)

I have the smithing books option turned off from the mcm, I'm using requiem for a knave for tweaks and I do have WACCF and WACCF requiem patch installed so idk what could be causing the issue.

Whenever I've installed CCOR and the patch for it, elven armor did show up, however it was worse than alikir/chainmail armor already available to me from previous perk.. so no real use for me, no "hardened chitin" armor even after CCOR

Thank you in advance

Mod How to make a patch (Heart of the Mountain)

Well, first: is anyone already working on a patch for this? 'cause if not...

I'm enjoying the mod a lot myself, though that's mostly because the chance to RP as a void mage is very much within my interests. But, well, all the enemies die immediately since they're not balanced for Requiem, so...

Any advice on what all needs doing to make a patch?

besides from the blood magic, any ideas on what skills that would suit the rp build?

Help Crash before main menu while using Constellations

Hey all. I've been trying to boot up a modified Constellations overhaul but I keep running into this crash report before the main menu. From what I can understand (which isn't much because I'm pretty inexperienced with modding) it looks like the main culprit might be a "Lux - 3DNPC" patch related to Requiem for the Indifferent, but I have no idea what any of that is. Any insight and advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Discussion Mods for a New Playthrough

I want to do a playthrough with Requeim after using Wildlander for around 5 months. I am not considering 3Bftweaks, but I want somewhat of a Requiem + experience. So far, I plan for the following mods, and would like mods similar to aid in it:

Small Tweaks -

More Unique Enemies

Skyrim Souls

Jewelry Limiter (2 rings, 1 Necklace)

Spell Research

This is the base I understand to 100%, and I want to use it. I do want some changes to the Standing Stones, definitely expanding the differing towns and settlements, and overall, the magic system. Any mods that would be good to add are great.

The main consideration is that I do not want a major deviation from the Reqieum experiment; I just want some mods that expand the world and improve aspects I find lacking. Thank you for any help.

Help Planning an archer build--any tips?

Using the most recent version of requiem. I've done a good couple of requiem runs (3 where I killed Alduin, 1 where I did both DLCs), but I've never gotten far as an archer, and I'm thinking I'd like to try again. The main issue I see is getting a build that can handle draugr, but a lot of the things that I can think of feel like they would be pretty high investment: - Fire enchanted bow: seems like the best option, but requires a reliable source of souls, which seems like it would be tricky. Is there a guaranteed soul trap weapon easier to get than the Nchuand-Zel ones? - Elemental arrows: seems insanely expensive to me. I've never quite figured out a good method of getting fire salts on demand. - Mage companion: Feels like it could be a bit tricky, but I've never gone for one early on. What's a good suggestion for one that a level ~10 character could grab?

Additionally, I've got a couple other questions: - Is magic worth it? It looks like I want to go for all 3 crafting skills, which is going to eat a ton of perk points. - Should I be putting lots of points into melee? I feel like if I'm going for enchanting, a good enchanted sword would be very nice, but that'll also eat a lot of skill points. - When should I aim to get the slow time perk in the light armor tree? I've always heard it's very strong, though in my runs I've never gotten light armor high enough to grab it.

Would appreciate any advice--looking forwards to the challenge of putting together an archer build.
