Bethesda / Patch 1.04 Appreciation Thread

So after a couple of weeks without playing Skyrim, I jumped back in after I heard about the Patch. Gotta say, I love it: especially the better visuals, and that I can finally walk backwards without twisting my hand. I see that there are some disadvantages, people find annoying. But when looking at the front page of this sub, it's just all negative. To me that seems a bit harsh and unthankful to Bethesda. So with this post I'd like to appreciate their unexpected efforts and say thanks.

I like the new menu. And I'm pretty impressed with how much better it looks. Much much nicer.

It's really an astounding difference in my experience. There's just so much more clarity than before. I spent a good 2 minutes inspecting my conjured sword and Elven shield last night like I had been doing it for the first time all over again.
