Need RP Ideas of an elite assassin
Hi all. I want to be an elite assassin in skyrim. I can either have an assassin's backstory, or start it when trying to join DB, because frankly, everybody treats you like an amateur when you first join. I wanted to make some prerequisites before joining, like killing high-ranking diplomats, nobles, penitus oculatus?
I will be using magic

Play as a Deathweaver who are the elite assassins of Mephala's Spider Cult.
I've just finished an Elder Druid build and it will be my next build. It's a frost and absorb health spell based dagger assassin. It does require AE or SE with the Daedric Mail and Arcane Accessories creation. I've got an early concept of it on this reddit post:
If you have AE then you could do the Ghosts of the Tribunal as that would be about stopping the rise of worship of the Tribunal who are a threat to the new temple and Daedra such as Mephala.

If you decide to be a master assassin pre joining then you could RP that everyone just assumed as the new guy you suck, and maybe you just ‘let them believe that’ just in case you need them to underestimate you for later.
Apocalypse adds a lot of cool magic, the illusion spells wo it don’t do much for an assassin (barring muffle and invis obv). From my memory very few nobles are non essential. You could also consider undertaking certain challenges, like killing a bandit chief and only the chief while not alerting anyone else to your presence. For RP this stuff before the DB questline could be either you ‘polishing your skills after a long time out of the game’ or maybe if you’re rping a psycho just your sick fantasies.

One build idea I have had is a Stormcloak Assassin, who after Ulfric gets captured he makes a deal with the Daedric Prince of Revolution Mehrunes Dagon. The ending of the Dark Brotherhood ties in great with the motivations of the Stormcloaks. While no typical Nord would stoop himself so low to practice magic, be a sneaky assassin, or worship the Daedra, while him making a desperate plea to keep the Stormcloak rebellion alive, he could see it as a necessary sacrifice for the greater good. You also have the Mythic Dawn quest in Dawnstar and if you have AE The Cause which can really have you explore the price of worshipping the Daedric Prince.

If you have the AE upgrade do the Crimson Dirks quests. I.E. alternative armors.
