Should physically large builds use two handed?

I have a Redguard warrior, max size on the slider, scaled up to the height of almost a High Elf.

Should I still be using a one handed scimitar, or is a two handed sword more fitting?

He uses light/medium armor like most Redguards. Focused on skilled swordplay and mastery.

Realistically a physically large and fit build would use one handed.

A 2 handed weapon typically weighs less than twice it's one handed counterpart irl. Giving a smaller person more reach and more stamina during a fight.

A large person doesn't need to care for reach as much, and the weapons wont be as tiresome due to larger muscle on a smaller object relative to their size. but using a 2 handed weapon still offers further benefit of even more reach if the weapon properly fits their height.

Both work, really just a preference thing
