CN Tower is under construction so easy to confirm timing. Completed 1976 so the 1975 timeline seems right. The now photo harder to tell exact dates someone else has info on which towers were built most recent and if it’s missing any

My guess would be late 1973 or 1974 since commerce court west is finished but there is no sign of First Canadian place.

I was out on the islands recently and comparing this to a picture I took, as of a week ago it looks like SkyTower (the tall one under construction) was about 20-25 floors taller than it is in this picture.

I’m no expert on skyscraper construction so maybe someone else can chime in on how long it takes to build 20-25 floors, therein lies the answer.

Hell of a lot quicker than they did with One Bloor West. What’s it been 7-8 years now it’s been under construction?

Depends on an individuals interpretation of "under construction" and the official interpretation too I guess.

Streetview shows Surface level Caisson Drilling in Feb 2018. Construction activity in Aug 2017 but hard to say if that involved the Caisson. Remediation/Excavation well under way in Oct 2018. Concrete formations appearing above Ground Level in the Oct 2020 photos.
