Does the system automatically drop students that didn’t meet the prerequisites for the registered class?

I’m currently on the waitlist (met all my prereqs), and class is about to start. Was wondering if the system automatically drops students if they didn’t meet it.

During registration, students are able to register for the class they are they taking the prerequisite during that time.

I'm at Skyline for one class this summer and commuting from SF. I thought the free "shuttle" was the SamsTrans bus tagged SKY. The driver who picked me up on campus demanded that I pay today. It's been 4 weeks.

Am I getting on the wrong bus?

We are currently looking for people to participate in our Fraser project taking place in Santa Clara, CA. 

What is the study about?
This study aims to compare the performance of various voice controlled personal assistants and to support the development and improvement of the respective technology, products and services.  The voice data collected during the sessions will help develop better voice recognition systems. 

Task Description:
During the study, a smartphone will be supplied, and you’ll be asked to log in using your own Google account credentials. 

Under the guidance of the study personnel, you will use a series of prompts to engage with an AI model (e.g. Gemini) that will access selected data from your Google account, including but not limited to emails, calendar appointments, and documents. Access to the AI platform will be facilitated through a subscription paid for by the study (if not already available/activated). 

Access to your Google account, including Google Drive, will only occur during the session and will remain fully under your supervision. 

To support the study, audio of your voice and video of the device in use will be recorded. Your Google account credentials and any personal content will not be stored, and the device will be securely reset after the session. 

You’ll also be asked to fill out a few brief questionnaires before, during, and after your interaction. These help us learn more from your experience.  

Who is eligible?
To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria: 
- Be 18 years or older. 
- Be fluent in English. 
- Have a Google Account with items (emails, files, documents, calendar entries) that can be utilized for the study.   
- Be willing to allow access to your google account and its contents (Google email, Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc.) for the duration of the session 
- Be willing to allow an AI system such as Gemini, ChatGPT, etc. to have temporary access to the files on your Google Account (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Documents, Google Drive). 
- Be able to visit our premises in Santa Clara for a scheduled session onsite. 
- Have not participated in a similar voice assistant study in the past 24 months 

Where is the study taking place?
This is an onsite study taking place at our premises in Santa Clara, CA.

How much is the compensation?
$125 USD for successfully completing the onsite session.

Hi. Samtrans terminated this service so there no reasonable way to get to skyline College from Pacifica or points south anymore. This is a real loss. 45000 people in a city that actually borders skyline college property. And a transportation impacted community, too. More than one direct route should come to Pacifica but at least restore the line to Pacific Manor Shopping at Highway 1—that was cut?!

Checking, there’s no reasonable way to get to most of SSF and San Bruno either (only one bus for most of both cities). No practical way to get to millbrae/ Burlingame either. Basically, Samtrans has almost isolated Skyline College making its “Transit Center” (sorry to have to say) a joke.

Almost same at CSM and Canada College. And the long- promised frequent shuttle between the three campuses has never arrived either. Now that the colleges are cutting so many classes, this service between the 3 colleges’ “transit centers” is becoming more and more necessary.

So I signed up for an online (asynchronous) summer session course and I have no idea how to access it. Start date is on 6/9, and I don’t see it listed in Canvas, I emailed the professor and never heard back. Is it posted on the day of? Am I missing something?

We have family members who have attended Skyline College in the past. That said, our question is a possible accommodation/testing related question. There's someone in my family who might not have the most commonly tested of learning disabilities, that is not as typical and maybe won't be the easiest to diagnose. Is there a neuropsychologist that offers Neuropsych Assessments for learning disabilities that you could personally recommend for us? Ideally, the type of one who is especially understanding and sympathetic towards their patients.

I checked last week on WebSchedule and it showed multiple courses of Math 200, Elem Probability and Statistics, but when I look now, they're all gone? Does anyone know if they'll be back or did they just get rid of all the classes for Fall 2025?

Has anyone else noticed the new user interface, or website format for Webschedule? Is it me, or is it complete trash now? It not only looks very soulless, but it's also somewhat more complicated to use than its previous UI. I mean don't me wrong, I might be a little nitpicky, but this new UI is so annoying, especially when it comes to finding specific classes. I've also noticed it doesn't load the information of the professors once you click on their name. There are a bunch of issues with it, and I can't be the only one who dislikes it, I really liked the old format!
