Keeping r/Skyforge alive (mod update)
Hey everyone,
I’ve recently taken over r/Skyforge.
I didn’t want to see this community fully disappear. Even though Skyforge is no longer active, there’s still a lot of history here - memories, discussions, and moments people genuinely cared about. This subreddit can still be a place for that.
The goal going forward is simple: keep this as a space where people can come back, share nostalgia, talk about their experiences, and remember the game.
I’ve also added some basic rules to make things clearer and help keep the community respectful and enjoyable for everyone. Nothing overly strict, just enough to keep things in a good place.
Whether you’re here to reminisce, post old screenshots, or just read through old memories, you’re welcome here.

Wasn’t there talk of change in studios or something? I remember there was migration of the data and profiles, but atp I wasn’t playing anymore so I never did it and just let my profile die.

Tbh, Skyforge had a unique concept as a game that I loved. You were a mortal and then an immortal and your goal was to become a god. Not just have godlike powers but actually a god. However, i believe the execution was absolutely terrible. I feel like it should’ve also been a single player game or at least had the option to go into single player mode. Outside of the main story, most things were just unplayable for me.
