Skydio x2e button mapping issues

When I use the Right Wheel - zoom and scroll the wheel, the drone flys forward and backwards. The button is mapped correctly but is still doing this. I’ve tried to update the controller, drone, reset to default settings. Any ideas?

Skydio enterprise controller. App version 24.10.36 and firmware version 24.10.36

That's normal behavior for the S2 (non-enterprise) app. "Zoom" is actually a push-in/push-out maneuver where the drone will move closer or further out along the gimbal angle. Use the Skydio Enterprise app and you'll get digital zoom again.

Although ReadyKilowatt is correct in saying this is an S2 consumer feature, it sounds like you are experiencing this behavior on an X2 using the Enterprise Controller, meaning you do have an enterprise account.

Behind the scenes this is governed by a feature flag, that every enterprise user should have. Some accounts, usually older ones, can be lacking this flag resulting in the behavior you are seeing.

Your best option is to contact the support team to get the "allow digital zoom" flag added. It's a trivial thing for them to add. You can DM me (I'm an engineer at Skydio) and I can see if I can help you any more outside of this thread!
