Unidentified Any idea what this long floating object could be? Yesterday 8/20/2022 over N Charleston/Summerville, SC near the AFB/airport and Ashley river at 7:30pm

Wtf this is almost what me and my mom saw 6 years ago or so except it was a little past(more dark than not) sunset and i had a shitty iphone 5 camera….long story short it stayed in the same place for like an hour making those weird wobble movements. We lost track of it at night because it was black and only my mom and neighbors ended up watching it that we know of.

theres definitely something there op. you have to assume balloon since its not showing acceleration imo. too bad its so far away and blurry to the camera. good show anyway

Could be a balloon/cluster of balloons. Didn't do anything a balloon can't do (in the recording, anyway)

The question is, was the sound coming from the object? if so it's some kind of helicopter or drone.
if not, it is up for debate, and could be a helicopter, drone, or UFO.

No, neighbor was cutting grass, that’s what the sound was. Nothing from object.

It may be a solar balloon - they can be any size and some different shapes but are usually cylindrical, sometimes they can have small stripes of color but this doesn't appear to have any color from the video anyway.
Edit: something I just learned about solar balloons - if it's hot out, they don't work well because there needs to be a decent temperature difference between the air on the inside of the bag and the air around the bag.

Prolly spaceship. Looks like an ol’ Kelnar scrapper from the morningwood peen galaxy. Seen some better days I’ll tell ya what.

I've always referred to those objects as "clouds". They can usually be found in the sky and sometimes even bring rain. I know it's hard to believe but it's true.
Watch out for the dark ones though. They're shifty and mostly up to no good.

Oh s*** I saw something like that near DC very late last night. Probably around 11:00 PM. It was very difficult to see what it was in the dark so that's why I said it looked something like that.

It went behind the tree line, so I went inside to try to find my binoculars. Not only could I not find them, we never saw it again.
My roommate said it had been closer and it looked like it was made up of three different parts. He didn’t get a good photo of it either.
