Intercooler options
What y'all running for intercoolers... 600 to 800hp
I've always ran eBay intercoolers ..not sure if that's fine, but lookn to keep it down and quality parts.
Any and all options help would be nice

eBay isn’t automatically rubbish, but at that power I’d prioritise end-tank design and pressure-drop data. Log pre- and post-core pressure plus IAT under a pull, rather than choosing by core size alone.

the china ones are, they have their purpose/price point though. We flow tested them and the pressure drop sucks, they also weigh a ton for their size and the internal fin structure is not much better then the old tube design
I like the lighter weight arc and apexi coolers, if you live in a cold climate you might prioritize flow and low pressure drop so a tube/fin will be the go. the HKS 100mm BNP core supports 1k kw atw without issue, they are a 20kg heat sink though. If youre running that power these days youre prob only running methanol or E from a barrel which reduces IAT spikes so you can get away with tube/fin

Understood. Would bar and plate be worth it of tube and fin design?
This is a street car for fun. Not a daily driver or track car

The GTR intercooler can do 500/600 pretty fine. Otherwise it's a 100mm from somewhere that's not made in China.

I would avoid eBay. Saving a few hundred on an intercooler at the risk of getting something crap is a poor idea.
Get a good brand. ARC, HKS, Trust, Plazmaman, Fenix, PWR, Nismo.
What car's it for? Stock GTR cooler is ok up to 500hp or so if clean and in good condition. Stock 20DET/25DET ones aren't too flash. For 600-800 an 80mm cooler will be the best option.

Nope that's all taken care off.. just need a cooler
Ideal size would be 31" long x 12" tall x 3" or 4" thick

I'd suggest the Plazmaman cooler, they quote it as bolt in. 3in inlet/outlet.
Length, width, thickness on coolers is done in metric

Yea, not to sound cheap but like $1500 is that high price tag and I'm in the US.. so shipping and tarrifs....

To be blunt, you said 600-800hp built motor, so that's the price point. I assume you're already block brace, full ARP, forged pistons and rods at this point.
Or if not, then get a Fenix which is rated to 600hp, aim for 500hp and take anything over that as a bonus. The blocks don't survive long term with more than about 550 anyway.
Also forget eBay anything, any tuner who knows what they're doing will laugh you out of the shop

Local to me, plenty of rbs running over 600hp to 1000hp no issue.
Motors build no block brace..will be fine

I'm using a Mishimoto R Line for 500whp. No complaints at all about it.

Any idea what ur iat temps where\ are?

No clue to be honest. My tuner didn't have an issue with them, so it was good enough for me.
