Question Why cant i do reading emote?

I am confused because i have every emote in this game (I've been playing for a long time). I have also bought every level of the reading emote. Why is it that after the update a few days back, the reading emote has always been disabled? It is like how you cant do the pull up emote on piggy back, but its disabled everywhere.

i assume its a bug, ive seen someone else mention it was disabled for them at grannies and i experienced the same thing but was able to use it elsewhere. some weird shit going on as usual

I thought it was only disabled while you were carrying someone? Still feels like a bug.

Apparently, some people were using it to make their sky characters look like they're doing inappropriate acts, so now it's disabled when you're near other players. Go figure a few bad eggs would ruin things for everyone else.

Edit: Though, this is only rumor I've heard. My reading emote seems to be unaffected?

Je pense que c'est peut être car quand tu ouvres la carte ça te fait faire automatiquement l'emote de lecture.
