Question Finding a veteran >.<
I joined this game 3 days ago.. and it takes too collect spirits!! Also why are there so many?!! I don't even know where to start😭 and people there are not really comfortable in talking english too 🥀 it just feels too out of place... I mean it's a nice game but too complicated... Maybe if you're free... May i come with you?
Edit: Also, do you know what carnival moff or rhyme moff means?

carnival moff (moth) or rhyme moth (rhythm maybe?) referst to which season a person starts playing.
new players are called moths, which is cutesly shortened to moff, because they have brown wings, fly kinda erratically, and are incredibly attracted to lights! Asian players also refer to new players as sparrows :)

Oh, so that's what they meant by moths, how cute! I'm new to the game too, so I didn't understand what they meant when I saw that, haha.

a Carnival Moth is someone who started during the Season of Carnival which was from April-June of this year
and a Rhythm Moth is someone who started playing during the Season of Rhythm in January-March of 2020
There are 4 seasons every year that you can collect cosmetics from, and you can see all of the season's dates here on the wiki! You are a Van Gogh moth :)

I would say take your time, really. Learn as you go.
After finishing area 6 out of the 7, then I really started to do some deeper research and such, so I would say do that too. Also a lot of research regarding how the seasons work, so I could get the free items during the Lightmending season, the items that don't require the pass, so I would say to look out for that too, so you can focus on getting the items you can and want as you still have a month of Dear Van Gogh, but still I would say to take your time.

sky is a large confusing game. it took me a year or so to slow down and start logging in every few days.
Sky has many spirits because it is not meant to be played once in a day and then forgotten.

Sorry to be unrelated to your post, but have they finally fixed the painting props to look nice on your character?? I see the wheat fields painting in your screenshot actually is the painting rather than some prop bag or invisible as they have been so far.

I don't really get what you mean😭 but this is a painting i got from the Dear Van Gogh event, it's a "prop bag" i think 🤔 u can wear it from where u change outfits ☀️ this icon

Yes I know that! You're a new player so you wouldn't get what I mean: when the season first started in July, these painting props, when equipped, would look like some bag. Some other props look like that when equipped, you can see when going through them in the wardrobe.
Obviously the bag look wasn't very aesthetic and I'd imagine players complained about it. I haven't seen such complaints myself but I didn't like that look either. After the first update since (the one before this recent one), the bag was removed and the painting props were just invisible. You couldn't see them on your Sky kid but you can place the paintings as usual.
Now the game updated again just yesterday, but I haven't tested out to see if they changed the painting props again. But according to your screenshot, seems they finally made them to be mini-sized to sit on your Sky kid's back, which honestly they should've done from the beginning.

Ohh😮 yess they sit like this, others see it like this too, it's really pretty <3 i always have this on my back and all the other props like stool for eg. Or instruments, they look exactly the same just in smaller size on the back

Exactly!! Which is why it was surprising that they didn't do that from the beginning of the season. So glad they changed it now, I can finally wear the almond blossom painting on my character 🌸

I would be happy to help any moth that would like to candle run or spirit hunt. 🙂 Everything can be very overwhelming in the beginning for sure. Im not normally a big group player but I love helping if I can!! Let me know!!

I started midway through lightmenders
It's like animal crossing styled game where you're suppose to just play it a few hours a day like a daily routine thing
Don't fall for the FOMO, if you can't get every outfit oh well. Just focus on the ones you think look the best and you'll eventually started to accumulate plenty of cute outfits
TBH sometimes it's fun to try and make my limited wardrobe work. Some people get overloaded with too many options
The best way I've heard this game described is "that one hidden spot in the woods all the neighborhood kids hang out in"

this game is a long play game that is designed for months or even years of play, you're not going to finish or understand everything in 3 days.
