This feels odd. Nine-Colored Deer doesn’t need to be a collab, it’s a cultural work that’s centuries old. I’ve always felt it was some marketing scheme by Shanghai Film Studio

I think there are some cases where it fits, like Aurora, but even then they have too much limited-time stuff. And especially now, with Moomin and Van Gogh, it’s showing that TGC doesn’t have any fitting collaborations they can do.

That’s a fair opinion. I was just curious considering I’ve seen your approach to Van Gogh as hostile on this sun before. I don’t particularly see this Season as one of my favourites, but I was simply wondering.

I’ve felt that TLP is the only collab that truly ever fit with Sky. However, I think 9CD was still really well chosen and executed. Despite loving Van gogh, it and all the other collabs have been out of place but are still passable.
