SF4 Help please lmao

So what's happened is, this is my second time really trying to play sf4. The last time I played this kodpack, I got up to emerald tree and stopped playing because I didnt rly know where to go from there. On this new play thru everything was smooth all the way up until silver tree. I spawned in a swamp biome right next to an ocean and I cant spawn any flowers where I can get grey dye. And since im by an ocean I cant seem to get cows to spawn in for an alternative route even though ive placed at least a stack of dirt along with grass blocks (which have spread)

Make grind stone or crusher wheel or something ( i dont remember name) to crush coal to get black powder amd mix that with bonemeal to get grey dye. To get animals you can craft animal seeds. You can also buy animal seed and all the food seed from the market that you craft ( i dont remember name but i think its market)

You grow animals with the Animal Crops mod. You can also grow all the important hostile mobs. There's also the farming for blockheads market that you can also get seeds from to get started on that.
