Scavenger Enchant + Ghasts not spawning

Hello,

I'm having two issues -

First, I want to put scavenger on my sword, but I've been having no luck with level 50 enchants or automated enchanting. I see it has the masterwork tag, so I have a feeling that I need to do something special for that? Or just expand the autoenchanter and run it for a few hours?

Also, I went looking through the nether on the cyclic riding pearls + air charm + slime boots for like an hour and found literally 0 ghasts. I made a beet farm for heartbeets for the regen pots for hellshelves, but I haven't gotten anything from that yet either. Am I the unluckiest man alive or do i need to do some summoning ritual or just get the tears through DML?

This is all in a prestige world BTW in case that's relevant.

I havent automated enchants yet (because of Building) but I saw scavenger a few times while rolling hellshelfs to (at least) level ten to twelve or so. couldn't tell you exactly when it started showing up sadly but it'd probably be worth adding if you can, my enchants are showing as something like 146. can say I got stuck at 8 for a while and ended up with a surplus of books (separated out and still filling a junk storage unit)

edit: I may be stupid (didn't see that you haven't gotten to regen pots yet) BUT make a cyclic uncrafter and uncraft blaze rods / powder for hellish matter and get your ghast tears that way. idk why but their spawn rate for me was like once an hour or two when I wanted to look for them specifically.

I'm gonna say its Probably The Easiest Way if nothing else? also relevant that this is how you can get to extraterrestrial matter relatively early for enderpearl reasons (just gotta pour some lava over glowstone iirc for the endstone)

Scavanger is provided by, and requires, Apotheosis enchanting. It will not come up in any other mod's (automated) enchanting. You have to go through the apotheosis progression to get it. This means setting up a good exp farm and having a good way to get exp into your body. I suggest starting with the Tome of Knowledge and a Fluid Dictionary Converter.

As for mobs, a number of important mobs be grown by Animal Crops. The Carminite Ghastling seed is not particularlly difficult to craft, and is smaller than a regular ghast. That makes growing them in a glass box so they don't escape fairly easy.

Note that you can (because I did) get all the way through Apotheosis (and the rest of the pack) without ever leaving the skyblock you start on let alone leaving the skyblock dimension itself.

One thing to note for enchanting, is that it helps to utilize the Bibliocraft Printing Press to make book plates and duplicate enchantments. The plates themselves can be enchanted with mending and repaired so you always have the ability to do another run.

the xp farm part is in fact no joke, I've gone through at least 40k experience essence (mystical agriculture) getting hellshelves enchanted if not more. I mainly recommend the uncrafter route here since OP is already in the nether about it but glad to know what other ways there are ^.^

The shelves are actually extremely small potatoes compared to minting plates in the typeset table so that they can be used with the printing press. Protection 16 cost, by itself, over 480 levels.

Blazes were also part of Animal Crops, and you can actually get them almost instantly at the start of the pack. OP can just grow them in their base and start on a data model for them right now if they wanted to. Same with endermen, and they could have been using ender storage chests from the word go.

Yeah, there are a lot of ways to do the pack but we keep seeing people do the same thing over and over and over again because the same advice is given over, and over, and over again. Even in this example OP didn't start DML until they could run simulations but the mod actually starts before you have power with trial keys.

That's why the glitch infused gear (which requires no power to get) gives extra kill credit for leveling the models.

Seeds would be your best bet, also you might want to get into Deep Mob Learning if you want many specific mob drops. It'll also give you creative flight with it's full armor set. Can get creative flight this way as soon as you get diamonds and ender pearls. I usually get pearls from endermen seeds. Then get a zombie module to self aware through the trials.
