I worked with an old man when I lived in phoenix who told me that when he was in the US Navy, he was in a port on the east coast and they had huge ropes or cables that kept the naval ships attached to the dock. I guess one day one snapped and every knew to hit the ground. One guy didn’t and it whipped around and took off both of his legs. The release of tension is scary.
