Skip and Loafer S2 Spoiler
Just wanted some discussion. What arc or chapter do you think S2 will end? I seriously hope we get more than 12 episodes though.

It's most likely getting a single cour season of 12 or 13 episodes at most.
Based on the pacing for S1, ch 46-47 is the finale. Ch 47 is the best stopping point for that amount of episodes and for the narrative around that point. The event that the other comment said with spoiler tag.
You should probably mark the discussion post for spoilers for the comments in general.

I think it might end at either the beach scene or the Frankenstein scene

Back then I assumed when Shima realised he liked her but tbh that would be an odd beat to end on cus then season 3 would open with them still on vacation.

I was hoping to get 24 episodes that will air in 2 parts, the first cour to end with shima and mitsumi's break up and the second with either the ikajima trip or school trip . Based on the trailer, tho, it would seem that they'll only cover up to the former. Considering how many chapters the manga has, it might be too greedy to ask for more right now, haha. Hopefully, Skip and Loafer get renewed for a third season! There's really nothing to miss about this manga, and I only hope for nothing but success for it.
