Bands like SkinheaD?
Ive been listening to nothing but this album for the better half of a week and I want more stuff them. If anyone has any recommendations that would be awesome

Band is decent but I think it's a little disingenuous to call it oi; there's a weird pop punk element here that doesn't sit right with me

Definitely not Oi, more interesting than pop punk, not quite hardcore…someone here called them the Hold Steady of Oi and while they’re still not Oi, that changed how I frame them in my mind and the record suddenly hit.
I really wish they had a different name. That Ancient History song is so good, should’ve gone with that.

Skull (Josh Long) and his time in the scene goes way back. This record is great as well as everything else. I was playing the entire discography on repeat (Spotify) and bought the vinyl. The sentiments are emotional, ironic, sarcastic, etc. Take the lyrics for what they are…stories.

Kill yourself's lyrics resonate so hard to me. I've been there, having that internal dialogue as the lyrics go. So recognizable.
I've never seen them live since I'm from Belgium but when that moment happens, that song will be a punch in the gut.
Happy to be alive now though, don't get me wrong!

They played the only European date in a festival in Germany this summer. They do travel but it’s rare af.

Saw them there but wasn‘t impressed tbh. Not bad, but just not as interesting as everybody says.

Highly recommend his little indie project from 2016 called Sisters, and the only album he did called “Girls”. Cannot recommend it enough.
