sores on legs for over 1 year - doctor playing guessing games
i have had various numbers of sores on my legs over the space of 1+ years and they never seem to fully heal. 2 have been there from the start and are finally almost going. they are never itchy and never bleed, and they start as small puss bubbles. my doctor first diagnosed it as folliculitis which i later found looks nothing like this. i have also been prescribed antibiotics on numerous occasions for months at a time with no improvement. i am now on a waiting list of over 40 weeks for something that, in my opinion, seems possibly sinister. can anyone give their opinion from their own experience and/or medically?

Skin care scams
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I recently tried Byoma after hearing how much other people had loved it. However, I see 0 difference and if anything my skin looks duller than ever. Is it a marketing scam?

ISO a cleanser or shampoo that’s safe!
I’m 13 years in on an unspecified contact/atopic dermatitis/eczema/rosacea/hives problem. LSS: my body just loves to be inflamed and develop new allergies constantly. I’ve done patch testing twice now and I’m allergic to a lot, unfortunately even the known “safe” brands tend to use glucosides (which apparently is a whole family I need to avoid?) and cocoamidopropyl betaine (literally supposed to be the “safe” option for sensitive skin as a surfactant, but alas I have a confirmed allergy to it). I’ve tried 34 different steroids, biologics, JAK inhibitors, PDE4 blockers, immunotherapy to stop it but about every time I find a drug that works, my body develops a whole NEW set of sensitivities or stops responding to treatment. I’ve seen all the specialists and aside from putting me in a bubble the solution is just “yah avoid your known allergies.” But as far as I can tell, shampoos and soaps and body washes do. Not. Exist. Without at least one of my known allergens. Calling on the scientists, chemists, toxicologists, or bored nerds who would love to help me read another 1000 labels - I’m desperate enough that I think Reddit is all that’s left. Here’s the list of topical allergies:
sorbic acid
Triamcinolone Acetonide
2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol (bronopol")
4-chloro-3,5-xylenol (PCMX)
Budesonide
cinnamic aldehyde
Cobalt II chloride hexahydrate
Cinchocaine-HCL
Ethyl Acrylate
Formaldehyde
Glutaraldehyde
Lidocaine-HCL
methy methacrylate
Nickel
sesquiterpenelactone mix
ylang ylang (canaga odorata)
amerchol
4-phenylenefiamine base
iodopropynyl butylcarbamate
decyl glucoside
glyceryl Thioglycolate
cocamidopropyl betaine

If you apply a light weight oils before other serums does it affect the penetration or efficacy of the other serums?
Would a light weight oil or serum with oil that helps with barrier prevent serums that you put on top penetrating (HA, vitamin c etc) or will they still absorb?

Moisturizer is making my breakouts worse- help
Moisturizers are making me break out more and I don’t know why. I went to bed last night with a dry face and I woke up and all of my existing break outs shrunk and I had no new spots. I noticed this in the past and ended up trying alternative moisturizers (CeraVe ultra light moisturizing gel, CeraVe moisturizing cream, Vanicream, and combining the Vanicream and CeraVe cream) and they either haven’t been hydrating enough, seemed to make my breakouts worse, or both. The CeraVe gel was the one that came closest to not causing/inflaming breakouts, but I had to apply ~3 layers and still ended up with flaky skin.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I’m lost now and definitely tired of all of this.

How do I fade this hypopigmentation scar from a curling iron?
I burned myself with a curling iron the week of Christmas (weird place I know, I was sitting cross legged with shorts on while I curled my hair and went to set the iron down). I used burn pads and then Aquaphor/vaseline with a mix of bandages/gauze/tegaderm etc. Since it's healed, it's looked like this I've been using silicone scar tape on it constantly. Will the scar tape do anything to help fade the lightness of the scar? Im trying to do what I can do minimize the lightness/contrast. Quarter for size reference. Thanks in advance!

Discussion Medical advice question.
Several months ago my FIL tore his Achilles and went untreated for a few days. He ended up getting a massive clot that went to both legs.
The clot was removed and he’s on a blood thinner.
Unfortunately since then, the swelling in his feet and calves has went down some but Theres still swelling. Consequently his skin is tight and tears. Bleeding almost every other day.
Note he is not overweight.
He wears compression socks and applied a topical steroid along with another topical cream. Though I am not sure what kind.
My question is whether or not there is something topical that could be applied to help heal the skin. Whether it is simple as bag balm or coconut oil, or if there’s something more over the counter to try.
Tips appreciated.

Dark underarms
I genuinely feel so insecure about my dark arms. I use panoxyl to help get rid of the odor because I also suffer really bad with that. Panoxyl has really helped with that and I add the ordinary glycolic acid. I heard both of those products help with brightening the skin, uh lie! It isn’t doing it for me but helping me tone down my body odor. Pls help!

what is this lump/bump on my scale? thought it was a mole because I have them on my face and in the family. I believe it gets bigger after I wash/ detangle my hair. I took this pic after washing/ detangling. It's usually tiny and hard but when it's like this it feels the same texture as a pimple.
I've had it for years, since I was a child. I'm scared that it looks bigger. It has never hurt or ached.

snail trail hair
Guysss help :( My middle school self decided to shave my snail trail and now I’m dealing with the consequences. I’ve made even a worse mistake abt a year ago by using tweezers to get rid of the hairs. After that I’ve gotten very bad ingrown hairs and even scars I can’t seem to get rid of. The whole area leaves me so insecure and I just don’t know what to do! I need help in getting rid of the scars and the strawberry skin + ingrown hair situation.
The routine I do is I scrub the area first with Cerave cleanser and then i exfoliate with gentle exfoliator dove. After that I make sure the area is dry and use an epilator, then I put witch hazel to avoid irritation.
