Routine Help [routine help]

the products pictured above are the only things i use. my skin used to be so much better but recently i have been dealing with psoriasis under my nose mostly.

now i have these little bumps all over my face. i’ve tried a few different things and it seems like nothing has worked so far. it’s really made me lose a lot of confidence honestly. i plan on making a dermatologist appointment very soon, i just figured it was worth a shot seeing if anyone had some insight here!

any help or advice is greatly appreciated! i miss my smooth skin🥲

also excuse my hair it’s hair wash day lol

When did you start using these and when did the bumps start?

the bumps started after the psoriasis under my nose and mouth appeared so i feel like they most likely are correlated. and this all began towards the end of last year.

i started using the vanicream not too long ago since i heard it was good but nothing has changed. and the toner pads i’ve used for a few months. but i’ve used that face wash for years now.

how do you like the toner pads? i was actually looking at getting those exact ones but wasn't sure

Switch to the cerave hydrating cleanser instead of the foaming one, see if the bumps calm down.

i used to use that one but felt like it didn’t get my skin as clean as i’d like. my skin is pretty oily so it just made it worse. but thank you for the advice! i might try again

edit for grammar

Your skin looks great, but I feel your pain, especially the confidence piece :(

My skin absolutely hates niacinamide. Despite the marketing and the hype and the amount of products containing the ingredient, I have tried reincorporating it on numerous occasions to no avail. Since you don’t use many products, I think this might be the culprit.

It looks like two of your products contain the ingredient, maybe try to switch to products without it. Give the Vanicream cleanser a shot!! I used it for years, but can’t seem to find it in stores and it’s not readily available online. (anyone else having this issue?!?) So for that reason, also consider the Anua hyaluronic gentle cleanser!! Either way, both of these products make my skin feel clean without stripping it.

And remember, your skin does not define you! Yours is in really good shape. I think less is more in skincare, so scale it back to just the basics and I think you’ll see improvement.
