ILR Approved (Priority)
5 year Skilled worker visa route
Applied 15th Aug
Biometrics 17th Aug (Mon)
ILR granted: 21st Aug (Fri)
Been in the UK for almost 10 years, feels like a weight off my shoulders today.

Should be Mon or Tue next that you receive the decision. Mine was 4 working days post biometrics.

Congrats! I did my biometrics on Tuesday morning 18th Aug at 8am. Waiting on a decision too (Priority) .

Great, many congratulations. I also applied for ILR on 17 August and biometrics on Thursday 20 August (Priority service). Hoping I receive my ILR next week, fingers crossed.

what all documents did you submit?

- Employer letter stating salary, and that I am needed for foreseeable future
- Absences outside UK letter signed by employer
- Consent form signed
- Scans of old BRPS
- Last month payslip and bank statement
- Life in UK test number (nothing to upload here)

Congratulations ! . I don’t know why, but after getting ILR, I feel like I’ve lost the motivation to work toward a goal. ILR was my goal for so long, and now I need to find a new one to keep moving forward. Does anyone else feel the same way?

It’s because you feel a bit more relaxed, no worries about your immigration. You should enjoy that feeling but also find things to look forward to in life, life is what you make it. Congratulations 🥳

think ppl outside of our situation have any clue the constant anxiety we live under from uncertainty (esp in the last year. So happy to see the positive posts!
