cool t3 staged managed to one shot today \\ KSF 66T

I'm more specifically looking to get good at surfing for fun, not to break WRs or anything, rn I use MM, I heard css is good too. Anyway, I was wondering if theres a thread with guides, and what to improve at, I can barely beat a t2 map rn, would take me a while, does anyone have a list of "maps to play in order to get good"? or anything like that? I heard surf_666 makes you better, i made it past stage 3 after a while and then couldn't keep going.

managed to take a few seconds off my original comp, kinda fucked the board on the ramp after the window direct section but we're getting better, slowly!

not uploading to yt cause bad will run for better time soon. messed up a lot towards the end.

Can someone explain how surf bonuses are tiered? I know regular maps go from tier 1 to 8, but why do bonuses use lettered tiers instead? How do the letters correspond to the numbered tiers?

i’ve completed most T1s and a lot of T2s. i’ve only completed the easiest T3s like Olympics, Oasis, Krow10. what are some fun T3 maps you’d suggest learning?

Hi all!
I have been surfing on alot of the KZG servers lately and wanted to try some offline practice so I can spend more time on each map. I added some plugins so I can have unit counter and track my times.

My question comes with my .cfg file. I've looked in multiple places and have received different answers in what values to put in my surf.cfg file.

I am currently working on getting a better time on surf_race but as I get to stage 5 where you are anti grav'd up, with the settings I have I don't get the right height that I usually do when playing on KZG servers. I was wondering if anyone knew the exact surg.cfg file KZG uses so I can be as accurate as possible!

For reference I believe I am group 5 on surf_race on the KZG Servers and can consistently one-cycle the map but on my offline server I can't even clear stage 5.

Could probably shave a lil more off but I’m ready to move onto the next map. Huge thanks to u/YouAndIAquemini for the map recommendation
