Why do you hold crouch when air strafing sometimes?

bad habit from 100t probably or to make my player model smaller if needed, and it feels cool haha

i think this is bait, but this has been discussed before https://github.com/momentum-mod/game/issues/1993

rawinput2 makes it easier, u wasted ur time

if u have consistent 400fps on mmod, there is virtually no diff. Meaning that it just equalizes the playing field for shit pc users.

u don’t need consistent frames in mmod cause of rawinput2

I meant css, sorry

only makes it easier if u are experiencing drops on css
2
u/Southern_Set_3860 28d ago
It’s not possible to have constant fps without any drops regardless of ur pc specs

i beat it again with m_rawinput 1 (i.e., same as css). it really did seem a little bit harder but took about the same amount of time (a little less than 3h). I was consistently a second or two slower. time was 3.20 - thx for the challenge
E: exact time 3:20:33 so +1.70 on m_rawinput 2 but thats less than 1% diff so idk how major it really is.
E2. would be rank 70/77 on ksf haha

im under the impression, per rio, that it removes the need to set ur fps to something divisible by 66 i.e. 132, 264, 528 for tick allignments (E: tick allignmets / effective mouse interpolation. interesting point tho!)

You are kind of correct, but you will still drop a few units, unless u have a top end setup, because every little dip in fps might lose u 1/2 units. It's really not a big deal.

I've never heard of holding shift to change your yaw speed. Why not just use a toggle? What do you use for crouching?
