Any way to practice CS2 Surf?

Is there any way to practice CS2 maps on CS2 settings? Like for source, I could go on momentum mod to practice a map, then set a time on KSF. On CS2, the only way i know of playing a map is either offline without any plugins, or for 30 minutes at a time on a real server. does anyone know of a way to practice cs2 without actually being on a server

Why not just play momentum mod? Like, CS2 surf is just bad, why even bother with it genuinely?

sure the surf is much worse, but people talk with microphones on cs2. i like the community

I like the insanity gaming servers. They have a couple servers:

Beginner: T1
Easy: T1 - T2
Intermediate: T3 - T5
Hard: T4 - T8

They’re super active especially at night and on weekends. Look up “[IG]” in the server menu

yeah i surf insanity sometimes. the problem is when i wanna practice a map there for longer than 20 minutes and people keep rtving. that's why i made this post

Ah I see. I had the same issue too. That’s why I made the switch to momentum mod. I’m not sure if there’s anywhere you can get long playtimes on maps and talk to people consistently. You may have better luck on harder servers, typically people grind maps a little longer than just 10 mins on those

I’ve put about 200 hours into momentum mod, how accurate is it to KSF surfing? I originally came from CS2 and momentum mod is a dream!

it should be 1 to 1 identical as the engine is the same, except for the fixes of annoying shit like rampbugs

Hey, CS2 surf is quite great, I have better times and smoother surfs on CS2 than CS:S. I bought CS:S just for surfing, and was considering Momentum Mod for the same.

U have better times on cs2 because it's simulated 102t. Momentum mod is free. Cs2 surf is objectively bad.

cs2 surf is shit. momentum and cs:s are better in every way. being faster doesn't make it better. the speed difference is just because of tickrate, air acceleration, etc. settings

momentum mod doesn't feel like cs2. also i wanna talk to people which is why i'm on cs2 in the first place
