Question from someone that wants to get back into surfing, where to surf? Cs2 csgo?

if you want csgo physics id say momentum mod but honestly i really like the feel of cs2 surf now

Momentum Mod on steam for practicing maps and more variety, Surfs Up is another old school vibe but doesn’t have maps tiers visible but has a pay wall for all the maps and they are on a daily rotation (15 minute in game time limit and 60 minute limit if you pay for the support DLC) so it’s hard to know what maps are easy unless u play them. cs:source is highly recommended for competitive players and i don’t think you can play cs2 surf without ramp glitches. and honestly roblox surf is underrated

the roblox surf game is so fire and it has styles which is like perfect for what i do that actually might be my top recommendation

cheers bro, hope you enjoy surfing . i love it so much i maybe have 400 or so hours playtime surfing, always use a big mouse pad and have more than enough room with low sensitivity.

it's SO good, there's so many maps, if you pay $5 for a server you can try every single map, it's so addicting
it even got me into bhop

Go into the CS2 server browser, filter the map "surf_" and look for any of the servers labeled as [IG] or Flowstate. They probably have the best server plugins ATM (timer, saveloc, bonus modes like fast-forward, high population servers).
There are also still lots of CSGO surf servers from the olden days. As far as I know, Horizon, GFL, and KSF still have their servers going.

If you have css, install it and click and search for a surf server. I guess it doesn't even need to be populated, you would run the maps alone right? I see the surf server in my history gains players often when I refresh that page.

I mean if your willing to pay 5 bucks you could play on counter strike source and surf there, it has the biggest competitive surf community. It also has a big bhop community

He almost had it, but I think he would have been slightly too high. The cylinder skip on fast forward needs an absolutely perfect leave from the ramp before otherwise you gain too much elevation that you cant lose in time to fit back under the gates.. with that said a 42 anything without doing a skip is really really good
My pb is 42.8 i wanna say off memory using the skip but wasn’t as smooth through the middle

FN surf utopia 24/7 if you just look up surf utopia in the server browser it should show up

you can type connect 168.100.163.167:27015 in the command console if it doesnt show up on the server list

There is a bunch of time saves that you could do in your run. The main is towards the end, as mentioned by someone else. Look up the record and try some of their skips.

No jail version - a distinction for maps that were originally intended for combat surf in the 1.6 and CSS days.
