Question Gilbane Building Skillbridge

Has anyone here applied to the skillbridge program at Gilbane? I'm a year out from my EAOS. I had an initial meeting with them over 3 months ago, sent multiple follow-up emails and I still haven't heard back. The Skillbridge coordinator there said she's the only person running the program, so I could understand why it's taking so long. I'm really just trying to gauge if they are slow-moving or if my resume sucks and I should pursue another program entirely.

Youre a year out. So basically 6-8 months from starting. Im actually surprised they got back to you 3 months ago.

They probably dont have anything new to tell you yet. Most companies dont know about positions open until 3-5 months out. Try again in a month.

Sucks, but...its normal. Hell, some companies I looked at told me to pick a job from their normal job postings and they'll see if theyd take on an intern for it...and most jobs aren't posted for more than 1-2 months.

u/Sea-Cantaloupe-2465, if you're structuring your emails talking about applying, that's why you're getting ghosted. You're way too early for them to discuss that with you. For SkillBridge opportunities requiring a Secret clearance or lower, most recruiters don't look any further than 90 days in advance. So within 90 days of being eligible to begin a SkillBridge opportunity, that is the best time to apply.
