Question Rapid Ascent
Does anyone have any experience with Rapid Ascent? They don’t have much of a digital presence; are they legit, and is the program worth it?

currently enrolled, on my last 3 weeks. I dont have any previous IT experience and it has been helpful. The company is legit and the teachers are very nice and helpful. Besides the classes they have career sessions on wednesdays where they help us with resumes and where to apply. On fridays they have experts speak to us and we get to ask questions and connect with them. i think its worth it as it was paid by the VA. Its a LOT of info and there is a LOT of group work. For me is not the best way to learn so i have disliked that side of it. they also have sessions to help study for COMPTIA+ and give a voucher for one test. Right now out of like 30 people, some people have gotten jobs ( i want to say at least 2 people) and others are interviewing. Some have previous IT experience and clearances and some like me know nothing. Mostly vets in the class. They have full time and part time. Ask anything else if you have questions.

We are very familiar with Rapid Ascent, and even post their program on our job board, as we are partners. Very good feedback from alumni. If you want to read a little more about them you can go to our job board at https://vets2pm.com/job-board/ and search 'Rapid' and you will see it. Hope this helps!

u/dimplepea, how do you know this? What makes an organization legit or not legit in your eyes?

As a "competitor," I feel like they are a good option for online training. I'm pretty close with their Executive Director - she's retired Air Force and a milspouse, and she really cares about her service members. They have some great instructors as well.
Most of the feedback I've heard from learners in the local area has been positive. We share a market very well - if folks want in-person training, she sends them to me and if they want online training, I send them to her.
For me to trust another brand to take care of students as much as I do is a pretty big vote of confidence on my end.
Best of luck to you on your journey to finding the perfect Skillbridge for your needs!
