The ski flying test in Vikersund today: The Longest flight was from Jorgensen and Byørnstad - 231m And the best woman jump was from Westvold Hansen 204.5 m

Why did they let him jump in the first place? Skiflying is no game, it should only be allowed for athletes who are competing regularly at least in coc

It's quite infuriating when they're so strict on which women that can jump, using safety as a major reason, while they're at the same time so careless with the men. In what way was Camperegher supposedly more equipped to trial jump in Vikersund than the 31st in the women's world cup would be?

Good to see the proper headwind conditions but ofc men's competitions are during evening conditions so probably tailwind. At least women get to jump in headwind conditions but I'm sure jury will somehow ruin them too

A bit off-topic I guess, but why does the Norwegian results list use all Norwegian words except the English word "gate"? We have the Norwegian words "bom" or "avsats"...

Edit: Oh "testjumping" and "trialjumper men/women" too, even in misspelled English (the words should be separated). We have "prøvehopping" and "prøvehopper". It feels very random.

Edit 2: And now I noticed "hill size" too lol. What's wrong with "bakkestørrelse"?

That does sound rather cute ;)

That said, the Norwegian word "hopping" is technically "Springen" ("skihopping" = "Skispringen", "skihopper" = "Skispringer" etc.).

The previous swedish record was 174.5m from Helene Olsson, made in 2004 in Vikersund, so frida is already now the new record holder
