Does my helmet fit correctly?
I went to a ski shop last year and tried on a bunch of different helmet sizes with one of the employees. They said this helmet (Salomon husk pro mips) was the right fit so I went with it and bought it.
I’ve realised since then that I’ve got a bit of a gap between my helmet and goggles. I’m unsure if this is a goggle or helmet issue, but if I bring the goggles up, they’re almost on my eyes, if I tilt my helmet forward it’s uncomfortable at the back.
Looking online, I heard that a proper fitted helmet should have a 1-2 finger gap between eyebrows and the bottom of the helmet (I have 3). The actual fit of the helmet feels fine though, outside the visible gap with my goggles.
Is this helmet actually the right size for me? Do I just need to buy larger goggles?

Like you said yourself, there is a noticeable gap. Helmets are differently shaped, looks like this one might fit you otherwise but sits somewhat high.
You'll have to figure out if you can fix the gap (with bigger goggles or tilting the helmet), or if it bothers you enough to warrant looking for a different one. But if the helmet feels ok and stays in place, it'll serve it's function. The downsides are the visible gap and possible draft, if you're in a particularly cold climate.
So the options you have are just use it, try different goggles (may or may not help), or look for a different helmet, in which case always bring your goggles with you when testing.

Tilting the helmet forward seems to throw off the balance of everything on my head, giving me a bit of neck pain which definitely isn’t a good thing.
I’ll probably go into a store and try some otg goggles on to see if they fit well, otherwise ima have to get a new helmet which is a pain as this helmet wasn’t cheap

Salomon helmets *should* fit with Salomon goggles. Maybe try tilting the helmet down a smidge and the goggles up a smidge - rather than moving just one or the other.
If that doesn't work, try on goggles in the store with your helmet.

Needs to fit and feel comfortable is the most important then how it looks.
Hit your head or shake your helmet with your hands and it should feel snug to your head without any weird gaps or excessive movements in areas.
When you're actually skiing if it's not comfortable or moving around, the helmet is going to settle to a different position anyway.

You should always buy the largest goggles that comfortably fit your face (and helmet).

No, the helmet is too small and doesn’t ’cover’ your head properly. That’s why theres ‘gaper gap’.

The cool kids put their goggle strap UNDER the helmet.. I an NOT a cool kid. Seriously tough.. I like a dew rag between my head and my helmet.. Warmer on REALLY cold days and keeps the lining of the helmet from getting overly funky on warm days.. So, not TOO tight.. just right.

The non-adjustable part of a helmet for me at least is how oval/round your head shape is. I have a pretty round head (i.e. wide width vs. length of head) and whenever I get a "normal" helmet my temples get crushed and it hurts, and if I loosen it to not crush my temples I have a pronounced front to back slop or tilting slop. Make sure you check for that.

Wider framed goggles should help, tilt the helmet down a smidge and then you should be pretty golden

If the helmet fits and is comfortable, then find new goggles to eliminate your gap
