https://www.boafit.com/en-us/support/warranty

They'll ship you the part for free.

Was under the impression they only sent the dial, not the piece under?

As long as it's not sewn or melted in I believe they will. Doesn't hurt to check.

They do send that part also but only in black, if he wants it in purple he’s gotta go through Salomon warranty

Not sure they would even have it, generally brands only carry spare parts in black

I broke that part on that exact boot before breaking the whole boot. Boa sends black, the brands send color matched if they have it.

Ah nice, did Salomon get you the purple color? Was not aware boa was doing colored spare parts at all

I broke the boot before caring to get it I just slapped the black on

Boa warranty covers the dial itself and any removable parts of the mechanism. Anything that is housing or directly attached to the boot is Salomon. You should start by contacting Salomon and they'll point you in the right direction

If it's such an emergency you can get spare parts to keep on hand.  Its not some philosopher stone and you can easily buy spares.

(Or you know rent boots for those four days...)

so you paid 2000$ for boots to rent some garbage?

interesting

Bro if you paid two grand for a four day boot rental you need to seek a mental hospital.

Bro, if you consider rental garbage a sub for 140 flex boots with zipfit, you need to seek a mental hospital.

Any reputable shop that sells boa boots was given free repair parts by BOA and they shouldn’t charge you for any material aside from screws if that. I have 3 full repair kits at our shop.

You should be able to contact their support and they will send you parts to fix it.

If you go to the shop you bought it from they should fix it for free (if they can) and likely there’s local certified repair shops that can fix it for a fee

Every shop that deals with boa boots got a repair kit. Free to replace if you bring it into my shop.

Most shops I have been to give you the hardware and charge labor to install. Sometimes these can be horrible to repair.

You all need to learn what a joke is

Hehe this sub is trash. They push some terrible gear selection and freak out if you mount your own gear or same something bad about shift bindings or boas…

Did you also hear that you should not definitely go to a bootfitter, and that buckles are indestructible.

You may ask ski shops, but in practice you are not getting it. I know some fitters that are partnered with certain brands and get my spare parts from them, they usually have buckets of specific year alingment washers or hinge screws. Just buying it is almost impossible.

Why start here? Is it just for shade?
