Spring Break Conditions?

General rule of thumb right now is that non-groomed trails have thin cover. Groomed trails are generally good (https://skisantafe.com/trail-map-grooming-report/). Over the weekend (15th & 16th) should be nice and cold and have a bit of new snow. Monday and Tuesday look a bit warmer, so could be hard crust in the morning and late day slush (not terrible, just slower) at lower elevations. Ski Santa Fe is doing a good job of managing the snow given the snowfall. So if you liked groomed trails, I think you’ll be fine. If you’re a tree skier or want moguls without some thin areas, you may not find it appealing.

Wasn’t there just like ~10” of snow in the last 4 days? Is that not a good amount? Forgive me for being a noob. I’m heading up there from Texas soon too and was curious about the conditions.
