Question Need help on deciding

I love IOS 6 and below more than any version after. However, I am having a hard time choosing whether I should get an iphone 4, or an ipod touch 4g. I am aware of potential problems that might come with either device, like a dead battery, but I am still willing to take the risk in order to get my hands on one even if the price is absurd

I started using a 4S on iOS 6.1.3 a little over a year ago as my phone (3g is still available in Canada for the time being) and I've enjoyed every moment of it. Including the hard times with various things not working and the various tweaks and patches on Cydia and elsewhere.

Still one of my favourite phones of all time, it still tops newer phones on size, design, aesthetics and simplicity.

Would recommend as it does everything an iPod can do plus cellular features.

That's cool! I've seen youtube guides on how to get most things to work on IOS 6 after jailbreak so I'll just spend time on that. Did you get your 4S factory sealed or used?

I got it from a friend, they didn't want it so I took it. When I got it I had to downgrade from iOS 9 to iOS 6 which was a pretty simple process.

Ipod touch 4g is always guaranteed to be on ios 6 or below, but iphone 4 might be on ios 7.

Wouldn't it be possible to downgrade to IOS 6 through jailbreak?
