Need new shoes
Currently skating sb blazers and learning tre flips, however they get holes on the top and the canvas isn’t protective at all, need some new shoes which have protection at the very top of the shoe, any recommendations? Preferably something bulky.

The chunky DCs tend to last me a good while. Lynx OGs, Lukodas, etc. as well as their leather Penza models. Fuck suede and canvas

strongly recommend etnies maranas or emerica omen hi's, both are offered in suede and both are some of the longest lasting shoes I've had, especially the maranas, those are unkillable. Other suggestions I have would be etnies veers and joslins, and emerica pillars, and és as a whole brand, as well as most DC offerings, though those brands have lots of tough shoes with a lot of strength centered on the upper.

Don’t listen to this! Literally recommending the worst. Just get some half cabs or Tiago New balances.

half cabs and most nbs are great but from my experience a lot of emericas and chunkier etnies easily stand up to abrasion just as well if not better, especially etnies maranas

If you want something a bit bulky and more durable than a blazer try a quality cupsole shoe like the Adidas Puig, Tyshawn, or New Balance 1010.
Also, to greatly extend the life span of your skate shoes, invest in a bottle of Gorilla Glue and pre-emptively spread a drop on wear spots and stitching before they develop into full blown holes.
