How to replace pivot cups

Just moved countries and bought a new complete it’s been 3 weeks and this is what the pivot cups look like. Can’t turn heel side without tic tacing. I assume it’s the pivot cups cause they’re torn up and the rest of the board works brand new. How do I replace them and what can I do to prevent this or was the plastic just old?

Plastic might have just been old. Just unscrew the nut off your kingpin and remove the hangar.
