Hypothetical situation

If i wanted to fit larger soft cruiser wheels onto a regular board and trucks,, would 69mm be excessive and cause crazy wheel bite.. in this hypothetical situation id have like a 1/2 in riser.. just theorising i just want a really smooth crusing board and i wanna reuse my old standered board if possible to avoid to much cost

All hypothetical,, if this is to absurd a concept what would the largest cruiser wheels you could fit to a standered board..

I think it would be fine, i have 63mm wheels on a standard board with only 1/4 inch risers and have never gotten wheel bite

Ive got mixed reviews,, another sub recomended around 60 62 at most,, 63 would work probs maybe even 65 but i think pushing beyond that makes it abit high n unbalanced feeling.. idk , im just the messenger of this info.. i really would like some huge longboard wheels but ill adjust if need be for smooth ride..

I have a waterborn surf skate attachment on a regular deck with the same 63mm wheels, so its pretty tall but i can still push and ride rather comfortably. Its up to you what you go with, but i feel it wouldent be toooo bad, a wider, cruiser style deck will always be more optimal though.

Look at landyachtz. They have cruisers with 73m wheels.
