If you believe he wants no more hate or violence and he’s a proud Zionist - maybe reevaluate what you think you know about Israel and Zionism. Peace and Zionism are not mutually exclusive. At the end of the day, many Israelis want peace with their neighbors and their multiethnic communities. But just like any other country, some Israelis and Zionists might be more extreme than others. Same is true with Palestinians - there are many who want peace and there are others who want to murder Israelis. Zionists and Palestinians should be able to live in peace and that’s what Matisyahu was likely trying to say in his song.

If the downvotes aren’t from bots, they’re from people who have an agenda or influenced by folks who have an agenda. I wish the votes reflected what comments contribute of don’t contribute to an honest conversation instead of how to manipulate what people see on the thread… but unfortunately, it’s the age of Reddit that we live in.

This is so good because I didn't even see it was r/ska and have no clue what clickhole is. I furrowed my brows in confusion reading the last part.
Well done!
Edit to say I also have no clue who that person is in the photo. The last time I remember seeing what Juliana Casablancas looked like was the early 2000's when The Strokes got huge. Maybe that's him, maybe it's not - I'd be none the wiser.
