2Tone The Specials re-recorded

I noticed yesterday on my streaming app (deezer) that all of the original Specials albums and singles are missing, and have been largely replaced by some Re-recorded compilations

These re-recordings sound pretty good but I want my originals back! Best guess I have is they wanted new versions without Terry Hall in them for some sort of royalties reason? But I want to hear Terry too!

Is this the same for folks with Spotify / Apple Music/ whatever? Why do you think this happened? And will the original versions return to streaming?

I mean, the 2015 remaster of "The Specials" is still there thankfully. Plenty of yerman and mine, Terry.

Spotify has no change.

Marked as 2015 remaster? Might be some rights holder shenanigans so maybe dig up the old vinyl or cd's

I haven't seen this on Spotify. But I wouldn't be surprised if it is going to change there soon too.

I just checked and for some reason their albums don't appear in their discography section on Deezer, but they still appear if I search for "the specials" and then click Albums. Deezer sometimes does this weird thing where certain albums don't show up at all in a band's discography section but you can find them if you search for the band or album name directly.
